So we got that exclusive invite for the Caps United Fundraising dinner at some up market place in Highlands and guess who was there,Peter Ndlovu.
Nicknamed the flying Elephant during his playing days, he definitely was looking fly on the day.
Simple but classy is his style, he wore a tan jacket with a black shirt, black jeans, brown shoes and a brown belt.
So we asked Zimbabwe’s most famous football son what his favourite piece of clothing is and to define his fashion style for us.

This is what Peter told Zimbuzz:
“I only wear what looks good on me, even if it’s a no-name, if I like the shoe for example, I will just buy it regardless of the price,” he said.
And then he had to throw some football jargon in there:
“You should feel good in what you wear, if you don’t feel good in what you wear then you are OFFSIDE,” he added.
Besides being a simple man he has a favourite place to shop and his is Zara, the famous Spanish clothing and accessories retailer.
“I love shopping at Zara, they suit my style and their designs are just perfect for anybody who loves a feel-good look.”
Oh and guess who chose the jeans he was wearing at the Caps United Dinner:
“My daughter bought these jeans for me, she just said Daddy this will look good on you and it did.”
And like most sportsman they love the comfort of their sneakers and the former Warriors captain reveals something interesting to us.
“I’m a Nike man; I love Michael Jordan and wore the number 23 shirt at Mamelodi Sundowns just in honour of him.
And here is the shocker:
“I have almost all the sneakers from Michael Jordan; I just love the Nike Jordan range.”
So basically Peter’s closet should look something like this:
