The Newlands-based station is in a conundrum following the resignation of its top personalities and is battling to keep the news under wraps.

A source close to the developments told Zimbuzz that news presenter Candice Mwakalyelye tendered in her resignation letter and is expected to vacate the station in December.

Another of the Station’s favourite presenters Sokostina is also said to be leaving the station, although we could not confirm when we have it on good authority that by year-end you won’t be hearing the long laughs of Soko.

Farai Mwakutuya who hosts the Current Affairs program, ‘The Platform’ is also on his way out of the station.

Recent recruit DJ Zihlo who hosts The Rush with DJ Munya every Monday to Friday from 1400 to 1800 cuts short her stint with the station as she too is said to have resigned from ZiFM.

Veteran DJ Kimble Rodgers has already left the station after his slot was given to DJ Munya during a reshuffle that happened earlier in the year.

The rational to move Kimble Rodgers from the drive time slot had left many listeners questioning the wisdom behind such a decision.

Kundai Chiyanika who hosts ‘The Movement’ with Danny That Guy on Fridays between 1830-1900 is also believed to have expressed interest in leaving ZiFM.

Already the station has lost one of its popular presenters DJ Eskay who hosted The Love Lounge between 21:00-00:00.

Zimbuzz revealed the news on Eskay’s departure and you can Read it Here.

Yesterday (18 October 2016) afternoon we sent an email to ZiFM Station Manger Tendai Madondo to confirm the said developments but by the time of publishing today (19 October 2016) she had not responded.

This could be ZiFM worst moment since they began broadcasting four years ago on 15 August 2012.
