“This is the first time we are showcasing at New York Fashion Week and it will be our biggest show to date,” he said.
“New york was has endless possibilities for designers who showcase at Fashion Week, already I feel like I am stepping into another world of fashion and business.”
David further informed Zimbuzz that the collection that will be showcased in New York, will be from their forthcoming winter 2017 collection.
He also hopes to get connections not only in New york but also in the American region.
“I suppose the ultimate goal would be starting conversations with department stores, boutiques and magazines based not just in New York but America itself.
David Alford and his team last year showcased their designs in Accra, Paris and Nairobi Fashion Runways.
However, he said he has learnt a lot in the previous runways but New York is a different ball game compared to other shows.
