Ugandan award winning artist, reality TV star and an entrepreneur Zari Hassan will be part of the power speakers earmarked for the inaugural Zimbabwe edition of the High Tea.
It is set for 29 April 2017 at Organikks, 1 Dacombe Road, Chisipite starting from 13h00hrs to 19h00hrs.
Zari Hassan is the wife to Tanzanian superstar artist Diamond Platnumz who also performed in the country in December last year.
She is based in South Africa where she owns a tertiary college (Brooklyn City College) and a cosmetics shop. after attaining a Diploma in cosmetology from London.
Zari is also known as the “Boss Lady” because of her entrepreneurial skills and a social media following of over 2,7 million
She will join a host of other powerful speakers who include Karen Mutasa- Zimbabwe, Noreen Makosewe-United Kingdom, Dr Noni Zwangobani-Zimbabwe and award-winning TV host Arthur C. Evans-Zimbabwe.
The High Tea is a delicious excuse for the ladies to dress up, look good and share their stories over a wide range of teas and good food.
It is about bringing like-minded women together for a common purpose which is to empower, motivate and encourage harmony and interdependence among women from different nationalities, backgrounds and races.
It targets women in business, aspiring female entrepreneurs, leading women in communities and careers and any woman looking to be among other women in hopes to gain knowledge, unity, support and resources across a wide range of industries & interests.
The High Tea was founded by two ladies who hail from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Bonnie Chimanikire a Business Coach and Voice-over artist and her partner Ntombizodwa Sibanda an Attorney, thought leader and a lady passionate about human rights.
The two have successfully hosted the event for two years, having launched the first High Tea event in November 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
