Zimbabwe’s Jindokai Karate athlete Knowledge Chikondowa (24) has appealed to the nation for financial assistance to attend GOJU RYU KARATE-DO world championships to be held in Foligno, Italy where he will represent Zimbabwe.
In an interview with Zimbuzz Sports Knowledge revealed that the journey has been filled a great learning experience.
“The journey has been amazing, I have been getting exposure to different instructors as well from various countries and gaining more experience,” he said.
“I started martial arts in 2004 when I was doing Jeet Kune Do under Master Regis Mapiyer then later on moved to Jindokai karate which is what I am doing to date,” he added.
Following his selection to participate at this year’s GOJU RYU KARATE-DO championships to be held in Italy from the 6th to the 11th of September 2022, Knowledge is in need of $3 055.00 to cover his travel and stay at the championships.
