Newly-promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side, Scotland FC, has made a bold statement in the transfer market with the signing of highly promising midfielder Nathan Mutasa.
Set to make their debut in the top flight in 2025, the ambitious club has been actively reinforcing its squad.
They have already secured Warriors star Khama Billiat from Yadah FC and appointed championship-winning coach Tonderai Ndiraya, who led Simba Bhora to the 2024 league title.
Mutasa, an attacking midfielder with an impressive pedigree, previously played for clubs in Spain (Granada) and France (Cultural Leonesa).
In the 2024 season, he had twelve goal contributions with 9 goals and 3 assists.
Nathan previously represented Zimbabwe in the Under 17 in 2017 earning 2 caps for the young warriors.
Renowned for his powerful shooting, dribbling skills, and precise crossing, he is expected to inject creativity and dynamism into Scotland FC’s midfield.
Beyond his talent on the pitch, Mutasa comes from a prominent background. His mother, Pokello Nare, is a celebrated socialite in Zimbabwe, known for her exquisite taste in fashion and her elegant sense of style.
With the addition of Mutasa and Billiat, alongside the experienced guidance of coach Ndiraya, Scotland FC has signalled its serious intent to compete at the highest level.
The club has also demonstrated its financial muscle by securing lucrative sponsorship deals with IMC and Sakunda Holdings, valued at $2.5 million.
As Scotland FC prepares for its maiden PSL season, the combination of talent, experience, and financial backing positions them as a team to watch in 2025.
