She’s Back! Ammara Brown Set to Light Up the 10th Castle Lager Braai Festival

Zimbabwean songstress Ammara Brown is making a long-awaited comeback to the stage as the surprise act for the 10th anniversary of the Castle Lager Braai Festival, set for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Glamis Arena in Harare.

The announcement has sparked excitement across social media, marking a major return for one of the country’s most celebrated performers.

Now a new mother and wife, Ammara has kept a low public profile in recent years, leading many fans to wonder if she had stepped back from music altogether.

Her inclusion on this year’s lineup signals a fresh chapter in her career and a nostalgic return to a festival that helped define her stage legacy.

Ammara is no stranger to the Braai Festival stage. She performed in back-to-back editions in 2016 and 2017, delivering crowd-favourite sets that cemented her reputation as one of Zimbabwe’s top live performers.

Her return this year is being hailed by fans as one of the biggest surprises in the event’s decade-long history.

Joining her at Glamis Arena will be a powerhouse lineup led by Winky D, alongside South African stars DJ Tira and Heavy K.

Local favourites EXQ, Nutty O, Master H, and Enzo Ishall round out a bill that promises to make the 2025 edition one of the most memorable yet.

The Castle Lager Braai Festival, now in its tenth year, has become a cornerstone of Zimbabwe’s entertainment calendar, a vibrant fusion of music, food, and community spirit that attracts thousands from across the country.

Each edition features a mix of local and regional acts, with the event evolving into both a cultural celebration and a platform for artists to connect with diverse audiences.
