Grammy award-winning ensemble Morgan Heritage is finally coming to Zimbabwe but through a new promoter, 2Kings Entertainment.
The show takes place on October 14 at the HICC.
The reggae outfit was scheduled to have performed in the country December last year but the tour was cancelled.
But how do we know that Reggae’s First Family is definitely coming? Zimbuzz got in touch with one of the executives from 2Kings Entertainment and he had this promise.
“We have done all necessary payments and papers needed, as 2kings Entertainment Morgan Heritage is a big brand and to us, it’s a show we are happy to do in Zimbabwe to grow our brand and to create relationships,” said Dee Nosh.
“We are charging between $10 and $20, looking at the target we just want to have a good show that anyone can attend and we all share a memorable event.”
Dee Nosh said Tickets for the show will start selling this week at selected outlets.
Fans will also get a chance to hear some of Wink D’s new songs which he sampled at the Mafikizolo gig which was organised by 2Kings as well.
Dee Nosh also shared with us some of the local gigs they are currently involved in.
“Mafikizolo was a good show and we are happy and we thank everyone,” he said
“2kings Entertainment is growing and we are happy to work with anyone and all upcoming artists, DJs should feel free to contact us as we do local events as well.”
Right now we have a Kadoma show on 17th of September, as well as Gweru, Bulawayo with dancehall artists, a Zimbabwe tour with Jah Prayzah from Kariba,Chinhoyi to Bulawayo so we are doing both local and international shows.
Dee Nosh who has been in the music industry for over 10 years and I have been involved in most big shows in Zimbabwe like the Mavado, Sean Kingston, Vegas, Djs Cndo and Cleo believes he now has the experience to handle bigger shows.
