Prophet Magaya’s Yadah TV to launch on DStv

MultiChoice Zimbabwe has announced the launch of Prophet Magaya’s Yadah TV on to the DStv platform on Thursday 18 January at 10 am.

The Zimbabwe-based religious channel will be available on DStv channel 281 on all bouquets.

Harare-based Yadah TV is produced and run by Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries, founded in 2012 and is under the leadership of Prophet Walter Magaya.

He describes his organisation not as a church but a ministry, made up of a Bible-based community of believers who gather together to worship God.

He is known for his annual Night of Turn-around over the past six years, with his 2017 gathering attracting 750 000 congregants.

“The purpose of having of Yadah TV is to meet the point of need that mankind has. It is also aimed at connecting with everyone so that their lives can be changed and never be the same again after they have experienced the power of the living God,” says Prophet Magaya.

Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe said: “We are excited about the launch of Yadah TV which will be available on all DStv bouquets from the 18th of January on DStv channel 281.

This is yet another way in which we show that we put our customers’ needs at the heart of everything that we do. We hope that this will be a welcome addition to the DStv line-up, especially for our Christian customers and those interested in our religious offering.”

PHD Ministries started with a congregation of about 140 people in Chitungwiza in 2012 and now attracts 120 000 people on a normal Sunday service, rising to 350 000 on special-event Sundays.

Prophet W. Magaya writes sermon books to help congregants and others to catch up with his teachings.

Highlights of activities and events that take place in PHD Ministries are aired on Yadah-TV. Also available are Prophet Magaya services held on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesday.

Prayer-line interviews and Prophet Magaya talking to and laying hands on individuals with conditions of illness and other negative situations. Testimonies of believers are also carried on the channel, which runs 24/7.
