They performed their monstrous collaboration before multitudes at the Mukanya Bira in April and now Gary Tight and Oliver Mtukudzi have decided to preserve the memory of it in a video.
It is a bridging of two generations suspending time to produce a timeless gem.
It’s huge alone to score a collaboration with world acclaimed superstar like Oliver Mtukudzi, but it’s, even more, greater if you can go a further step and record a video.
The video which opens up with a sleeping Gary Tight receiving a call to rush to the studio was shot partly inside the Pakare Paye studios.
One message which the video seems to impress most is the mentor/protege relationship that Gary Tight and Tuku have always had.
It shows an attentive Gary getting musical instructions from Tuku as they pen the song Ndizarurire, the song on its own, we believe deserves better marketing as it a monster hit but not many have heard it.
