The U.S. Embassy in Zimbabwe has issued a crucial update regarding the nation’s foreign assistance program, highlighting a shift in U.S. policy aimed at reevaluating and realigning foreign aid.
This announcement follows Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s remarks on January 28, which emphasised a commitment to supporting Zimbabwean citizens and promoting self-reliance.
In a press release, the embassy outlined that the U.S. government is actively assessing its foreign aid strategies to better meet the needs of the Zimbabwean populace.
