It’s official — R&B legend Joe Thomas is headed back to Zimbabwe for a one-night-only show in Harare, and fans are already losing it online.
The news broke after Walter Wanyanya of Ngoma NeHosho quietly dropped a concert poster on social media late Tuesday, confirming the performance is set for August 12, 2025. No venue. No ticket details. Just the date — and that was enough to light up the internet.
Wanyanya, known for running the hit Jacaranda Music Festival, didn’t offer much more, but the announcement alone has sparked major buzz. Fans took to the comments with excitement, sharing memories of Joe’s music and begging for ticket info.
This will mark Joe’s second time performing in Zimbabwe, following his 2008 appearance as part of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority’s Celebrity Host Programme.
That show left fans asking for more — and now, after nearly two decades, they’re finally getting it.
With the clock ticking and the mystery still thick, one thing is clear: Harare is about to feel all the R&B feels.
