South African gospel star Dr Winnie Mashaba has arrived in Harare ahead of Tatenda Mahachi’s live recording and album launch, set for this Friday, 10 October 2025, at the 7 Arts Theatre.
Her arrival marks the final countdown to what is expected to be one of the year’s most memorable gospel events.
Mashaba, who previously collaborated with Mahachi on the 2022 single A Friend, will share the stage with an impressive line-up that includes Sabastian Magacha, King David, Baba na Mai Charamba, Kuda Mutsvene, and Jonah Chivasa.
Welcoming her to Zimbabwe, Mahachi expressed his excitement and gratitude:
“It’s such an honour to have Dr Winnie Mashaba here with us again. She is a woman of great faith and an incredible minister through song. Her presence brings a special touch to this concert, and I know audiences are going to be blessed.”
He said preparations were complete, with both local and regional artists ready to deliver a night of prayer and worship.
“Everything is set. The team has worked tirelessly to make this recording a success, and we’re believing God for a powerful move during the event. This is more than a concert, it’s a time for people to come together and experience His presence through music.”
Mahachi added that the live recording would feature new songs from his upcoming album, including Muri Mwari, Ndine Simba, and Namata, alongside fan favourites.
“We’ve poured our hearts into this project, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with everyone who will join us on Friday,” he said.
