The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match between Yadah FC and Simba Bhora became the first official game played at the newly constructed The Heart Stadium on 6 April 2024.
It was not the opening Yadah would have hoped for as they fell to a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Simba Bhora.
Simba Head coach, Tonderai Ndiraya believes the stadium has a surface that allows teams to play and express their football.
