Fifth Title for FC Platinum Now an Uphill Task
Saturday provided an exciting backdrop as the four-time champions FC Platinum suffered a defeat to Manica Diamonds at home.
Title-chasing Platinum have now lost four of their last eight games. Consequently, Manica Diamonds have secured back-to-back 1-0 victories over FC Platinum this season.
Simba Bhora Smelling Blood
Simba Bhora sensing an opportunity, capitalised on Platinum’s misfortunes, opening up a healthy seven-point lead at the top of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League after defeating TelOne at Ascot Stadium.
A brace from Mthokozisi Msebe propelled the Shamva-based team to 53 points.
Caps United’s Dramatic Win Over Bosso
