They also won a cool USD 2,500 for coming out tops.

Tanza Bar and Restaurant in Chitungwiza came alive as music lovers flocked to experience the rich, undiscovered talent that the province has to offer.

In second place was another Afro-fusion group, Mazwi, while the revitalised Zimbabwe College of Music secured third place after narrowly missing the podium last year they were rewarded with USD 1,500 and USD 1,000 respectively

Next on the trot will be Mashonaland Central and Midlands Province who will decide their representatives next weekend.

The Chibuku Road to Fame has played a pivotal role in nurturing aspiring musicians and providing them with a platform to shine.

The competition, which runs from September 28 to November 9, 2024, is a collaboration with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), reinforcing a commitment to supporting the arts and fostering creativity across the nation.

With countless success stories emerging from previous editions, the competition has become an essential stepping stone for up-and-coming artists aiming for stardom.
