Chevrons Clinch series!

Zimbabwe Chevrons dismantled a hapless United Arab Emirates by 130 runs in the 3rd One Day International sealing the series in the process with one match to spare.

UAE won the toss and chose to field, they started well getting rid of inform Zimbabwe opening batsman Regis Chikabva just for 1 run in the second over, leaving the host stranded 2/1.

Solomon Mire and Craig Ervine managed to stabilize the ship with a great second wicket partnership of 104 runs.

Once again Mire failed to turn his good start into a huge total, giving away his wicket just for 40 runs.

Sean Williams was the pick of the batsman as he scored 109 runs of 89 balls. It was Williams 3rd ODI century and was duly awarded man of the match for his fine knock with the bat.

Craig Ervine was the scored highest scorer with 64 runs and the skipper PJ Moore carried his bat again scoring 58 runs as he made sure Zimbabwe finished their allotted 50 overs with a competitive score of 307-4.

Zimbabwe bowling attack functioned as a unit as everyone contributed by taking wickets.

Ryan Burl equalled his career-best taking 4-32. Sikander Raza and Kyle Jarvis took 2 wickets apiece. While seamers  Chris Mpofu and Donald Tiripano only managed one wicket each.

In the UAE side, only CP Rizwan and Muhammad Usman managed to contribute meaningful runs scoring  47 and 49 runs respectively as the other batsman around them crumbled.
