Revered entertainer DJ Rimo is known for his A-Lister performances, winning and dining with the famous whilst providing them with great vibes.
For him, the gift of deejaying has come with some unforgettable experiences yet he reaming humble about being up and close to the planet’s most famous celebrities.
Hot on the heels of his impressive gig at the Sean Kingston show in April where he potentially saved a disastrous evening into a memorable one after a poor performance by the main act Sean Kingston, he was onto something equally big.
In May DJ Rimo played at the Zarfest festival which marked the first anniversary of a South African entertainment company called Zar Empire.
the gig featured American hip-hop stars Lil Kim and Fat Joe together with Rnb goddess Ciara at the Borrowdale Race Course in Harare.
“Playing at such prestigious events is both an honour and a milestone for my career,” said DJ Rimo.
“In the art of deejaying you never stop learning and performing for a different audience like this you can always learn a few things that you can improve on to keep on delivering what the people expect,” said a humble DJ Rimo.
After the ZarFest showing, we heard through the grapevine that the American artists invited DJ Rimo backstage, exchanged pleasantries and had a few photo moments.
“Well we had a brief chat, they loved my selections and we took some pictures too,” he confirmed.
