Misred celebrates 2 yrs on radio and she has a message for you..

Misred celebrates 2 years on radio today and she has taken time to thank those who have helped her through the journey.

Here is a message posted on her Facebook page:

Today is a very special day. 2 years ago on 4 November I began my career in Broadcasting at ZiFM Stereo on The Ignition on ZiFM .

I was a complete unknown at the time but thank you to Supa Mandiwanzira Susan Makore Peggy Mvududu Tony Friday and Tonderai Katsande who took a chance on me.

Being a part of ZiFM has opened my mind immensely & even doors that previously were hard to get to.

I have travelled doing what I love, met international figures because the Station believes in us that much! I am nowhere near where I want to be but I want to take a moment to appreciate the milestones and the people that have impacted on my journey small or big.

Thank you to each and every one who has supported me by liking my pages, commenting(mostly on my ridiculous rants lol), those who have attended functions I’ve been a part of just to support a sister, given words of encouragement, corrected me where I made mistakes, put me back in line when I strayed.

My career has been blessed with interactions with great individuals who have wished me nothing but progress.

Thank you to the corporates who believed in me before i ever believed in myself (Sapatos,Black Opal, Chic Street, Coca-Cola, Delta, Mhara Holdings)

Thank you to my mentors Rabison & Makho. I pray for God to continue to let his will be done without question.

May he hold my tongue so I may not speak foolishly but speak to add value in the lives of those who hear me. I have so much to still to learn but it’s important to reflect and take stock.

THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE THROUGH THIS JOURNEY….. to my family at ZiFM I LOVE YOU GUYS! I could never ask for a more talented, loving, committed and awesome group of family than I have in you!
