Multichoice Africa today announced a major decrease of DStv subscription prices and launched an exciting new entry-level package unique to Zimbabwe to be known as Dstv lite.
The Lite package will cost $7.
The price decrease and the launch of the new bouquet will be effective Tuesday, September 26.
The reduction is the second one Multichoice has undertaken in the past two years, having undertaken the first one in November 2016, in turn, complemented by a price freeze in April 27 and an earlier price freeze in April 2016.
“We recognise that our customers are living in tough economic times and would like to alleviate their financial strain by providing them with the best in local and international entertainment at the best possible value,” said Multichoice Zimbabwe Marketing Manager, Gerald Ngonyama.
Dstv Premium will now cost $65 down from $72, Compact Plus goes down to $40 from $47.
The DStv Compact will now be costing $25 down from $28.
