Zimbabwean sweetheart Ammara Brown finally launches her debut album Ammartia on Friday 10th November.
The multi-award winning songstress will host her launch event at The Venue in Avondale, Harare.
The album is a five-year labour of love culminating in a strong Afro Pop explosion of sound taking the listener on a beautiful, heartfelt and interwoven journey.
Unexpected fusions of Afrobeats, Sungura, Traditional and Mbira influences blend seamlessly with House, Dancehall, RnB and Country to create a wholly unique Afropolitan sound.
The songs dance between the light and dark of experiences in love, swinging to celebration, gratitude, self-actualization, grief as well as everything in between.
All this was inspired by Ammara’s own personal experiences and lessons learnt.

Interspersed within the 14-track album are 5 powerful collaborations including the celebrated single Mukoko with Tytan and WachuWant with her sister Chengeto, Sey No with Nutty O of Military Touch Movement and 2 tracks – Tawina and Next Lifetime, with the legendary South African supremo, Hugh Masekela.
One of Zimbabwe’s most talented Stand Up Comedians, Clive Chigubhu will be MC of the event as well as provide comic relief entertainment.
Other supporting acts include poets The Tateguru, Black Pearl and DJ Reverb 7. On the same day, Ammara will drop the much awaited Akiliz video.
A star-studded list of special guests will be announced on social media in the run-up to the main event.
