As the final countdown to the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament starts in earnest, DStv viewers are being presented with an exciting 24-hour pop-up channel on SuperSport that will be dedicated to the much-anticipated tournament.
Said Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe: “The launch of SuperSport 14 is in addition to the History of Football pop-up channel being launched on DStv in association with A+E Networks International on May 28.
“So this gives yet another exclusive set of programming that will appeal to the fans of football across Africa, including Zimbabwe.
”SuperSport 14 will go live on all DStv packages on Wednesday, April 18 with an assortment of content that includes great legacy footage, highlights, documentaries, FIFA films, classic matches and interviews.”
The pop-up channel will also feature warm-up matches to get fans fired up for the kick-off beginning in mid-June.
Thereafter, all 64 World Cup matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be available live on all DStv packages through a dedicated and comprehensive SuperSport exposure.
African countries will particularly watch out for the action by the continent’s participating teams: Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco.
