After calling for bids for a local production team and a local presenter, the search is now on for the Zimbabwe couples whose weddings will feature in Zambezi Magic’s new reality television show, Our Perfect Wedding Zimbabwe.
Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said a call had been made for couples to apply to be featured in the show, with the deadline for applications set at Sunday, March 31.
“This show will be great fun and we hope everyone planning a wedding in the next few months will apply, and all they have to do to be considered is register their application online at www.zambezimagic.com,” she said.
“Our Perfect Wedding Zimbabwe is to be broadcast on DStv’s Zambezi Magic channel, as part of the ongoing drive to increase the level of Zimbabwean content on this platform for local talent and local stories.
Zambezi Magic was created to do just this, and here is an excellent platform for Zimbabweans to showcase their stories about their journeys to the altar.”
South African and Zambian versions of Our Perfect Wedding have so far been warmly received by DStv audiences across Africa and it is hoped the Zimbabwean version will be equally successful.
