In a significant boost to education in rural Zimbabwe, Delta Corporation has commissioned two state-of-the-art classroom blocks at Mudzengi Primary School, a satellite school in Chirumanzu District, Midlands Province.
The project, which includes modern amenities, furniture, and ablution facilities, was officially handed over on 10 March 2025 by the Minister of State for Midlands Province, Honourable Owen Ncube.
The newly constructed classrooms are designed to provide a conducive learning environment for students, addressing infrastructure gaps that often hinder academic progress in rural areas.
This initiative is part of Delta Corporation’s long-standing commitment to supporting education, having commissioned a block of two classrooms annually for the past 25 years.
Patricia Murambinda, General Manager of Corporate Affairs at Delta Corporation, highlighted the company’s dedication to community development.
“This significant investment in education infrastructure is part of Delta’s commitment to giving back to the community and promoting academic excellence,” she said.

“As a responsible corporate citizen, we recognize the importance of education in shaping the future of our nation, and we are committed to supporting initiatives that promote academic excellence.”
The School Head, Mr. Serere, expressed gratitude for Delta Corporation’s generosity. “We are thrilled to receive these state-of-the-art classrooms,” he said.
“This will greatly enhance the learning experience for our students and provide them with the facilities they need to succeed.”
The handover ceremony marked a milestone in Delta Corporation’s ongoing efforts to contribute to community development and education.
