It’s always difficult to remix a song especially if the original was dope and you still wanna maintain or exceed the first production, well for T-One it seems he nailed the art on the remix.
Tachigwinha remix which dropped late last week had me bumping to it all weekend.
The addition of the trio of Sharky , Ti Gonzi and Jungle Kid drew my attention to this particular track and i just discovered one uncelebrated producer by the name McLyne Beats.
The line-up itself is monstrous,Galis Kush on the hook along with verses from Sharky, Jungle Kid and Ti Gonzi appearing on the second hook.
For my money, Sharky absolutely killed it, while on the other hand, Jungle kid showed us that the worlds of Masvingo and Harare aren’t as distant as one might think.
I would say Jungle Kid should wake from whichever jungle he is hiding and give us a full dose of what he is promising, the sick rapper has been dabbling our ears into some great music.
However i would have wanted to hear more because three minutes didn’t quite do justice for my big appettite, but again more rappers would run the risk of sounding like an invite for old friends.
The man himself T-One seems to have had his eye on the newly introduced Best HipHop Verse by the Zim Hip Hop Awards, as his line sound like a clear audition for the nomination.
