Bryan K Releases Uplifting New Album “God Over All Things”

0

Gospel artist Bryan K released his second gospel album “God Over All Things” (G.O.A.T) this week, treating fans to a collection of songs celebrating God’s love, grace, faith and hope.

The 9-track album was launched at Greenwood Park, which has become a place where Bryan K invites people for free worship sessions every Sunday afternoon. It was fitting that he launched the album with his new adopted family.

The launch, which was well attended, was supported by different corporates, including CBZ Holdings, Neon Hiring, Zimbabwe Publishing House, GREYGATE, G Force Security, and Tose Global Records.

As with his previous work, Bryan K handles the production of all nine tracks himself, imbuing each tune with pure emotion and spiritual depth.

In the album, Bryan K explores what it means to walk by faith daily, surrendering fully to God’s will.

“I am so grateful that God chose to trust me with this music. It’s work that I am very proud of and hope it encourages people out there and maybe serves as a reminder that God loves them so much, that He loves everyone where they are,” said Bryan K.

On the uplifting track “Nobody Else,” he sings of finding purpose and meaning through his personal relationship with Christ alone, no longer seeking validation from others or living for their opinions.

“This song talks about how God saved me and has been walking with me on this journey every day, how He is understanding and so kind to me, how He is patient with me as I am progressing and working to be a better human being,” Bryan K explained.

Another standout is the remix of the classic hymn “Ropa Rajesu,” featuring guest vocals from Saintfloew. Bryan K reimagines the song’s message of Jesus’ atoning blood for a new generation, underscoring its eternal power to save and transform lives.

On “Take It Away”ft Banshee, Bryan K pours out his heart, asking God to purge him of all that is not of God’s will. Throughout the album, Bryan K’s vocals and thoughtful lyrics guide listeners into a place of worship, reflection, and renewal.

Some of the songs to look forward to on “God Over All Things” include”I Know,” featuring Natemusic, “I Don’t Know Why” featuring S1mba, “Can Never Go Too far” with Kayflow, Itai Zvamunoda and “Yes I know.”

The album is now widely available on all digital music stores for listeners to find inspiration and encouragement in their daily walk with God.

Defending Champions Ngezi Platinum Claim First Victory

Mhondoro-Ngezi – Castle Larger Premier Soccer League defending champions Ngezi Platinum Stars registered their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Manica Diamond Monday afternoon.

A well-taken header by Claude ‘Pokello’ Mapoka in the 39th minute, which was also the first goal of the campaign for the champions, proved to be the difference at Baobab stadium.

The champions had been without a win in their first three games, losing once and drawing twice.

Ngezi started strongly in the first half, creating several clear scoring chances with good build-up play and movement in the final third. Their best early opportunity saw captain Qadr Amin hit the left post directly from a corner kick in the 8th minute.

Only two minutes later another Ngezi attack was well-saved by Manica Diamonds goalkeeper Geofrey Chitsumba. From then on, it was all Ngezi as they dominated possession and tested the Manica defence repeatedly.

The goal came from a free kick in a dangerous area, with Amin’s delivery met by a powerful header from Mapoka that flew into the back of the net.

Manica struggled to maintain possession or build attacks of their own in the first half, often clearing the ball long without success.

The second half saw the intensity drop as Manica searched for an equalizer without much threat. The visitors made a substitution in the 64th minute, bringing on new signing Kuda Mahachi, but he was unable to make an impact on the match.

In the end, Ngezi’s clinical finishing and dominance in the first half proved enough to secure all three points in a game that could have seen them score more goals based on their opportunities.

‘Happiness’ by Aurah Ariko Inspires Self-Worth and Inner Fulfillment

In her soulful new single “Happiness,” Aurah Ariko encourages listeners to commit fully to their joy and self-worth rather than pinning it on another.

With lush melodies complemented by sparse, thoughtful lyrics, Ariko tells the story of a woman who has weathered her fair share of ups and downs in a tumultuous relationship.

Through emotional chorus refrains of “Now I get to say ‘YES’ to happiness,” she finds the strength and clarity to leave behind the empty promises and recurrent heartbreak dealt by her partner.

Though walking away is difficult, Ariko conveys that true bliss comes from within rather than from another’s conditional love.

Her vulnerable yet empowering performance inspires reflection on how we can find fulfilment in ourselves instead of constantly seeking it from those who don’t appreciate our worth.

“Happiness” is a poignant anthem about reclaiming one’s power and priorities that will no doubt resonate with anyone learning to love themselves unconditionally.

The single is taken off her new 6-track EP titled Purple Skies, which features a diverse range of themes, including love, the joyous celebration of a newborn child, and expressions of gratitude, among others.

Yadah And Dynamos Battle To A Goalless Draw in Intense Showdown

In an intense yet exciting showdown, Yadah FC and Dynamos faced off in a highly anticipated Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match Day 3 at Rufaro Stadium, which ended in a well-deserved draw.

Dynamos were the first to settle on the traditional ground they are familiar with and in the 5th minute, they hit the back of the net, but the goal was ruled offside.

Dembare captain Emmanuel Jalai was causing some headaches for the Yadah defence with his overlaps, combining well with Keith Madera on the right flank, something they enjoyed for the greater part of the first half.

The 38th minute provided the game with its first clear-cut chance after Khama Billiat rose high to connect a header that hit the woodwork.

Dembare, quickened by the scare, within 2 minutes, Donald Mudadi hit a shot that went off target.

The match became a ding-dong affair with both teams enjoying possession of the ball.

In the 42nd minute, Jalai received the first yellow card of the match for remonstrating against the referee for awarding Yadah a free kick.

With the match approaching halftime, Khama Billiat attempted a bicycle kick that hit the head of a defender inside the box.

In the second half, Dynamos Coach Genesis Mangombe introduced a double substitution, taking off Alexander Mandinyenya and Keith Madera for new signing Sadney Uri-Khob and Elton Chikona.

For a brief moment, Dynamos continued where they left off, piling pressure on Yadah before their plan seemingly faltered as the substitutions failed to add anything to the game.

Around the 80th minute, Dembare almost had an own goal from a Yadah corner kick, but the ball was cleared off the line.

The star quality of Khama Billiat showed again as he connected a header from the right flank, but it was punched over the bar by Martin Mapisa.

The referee blew the final whistle after only adding 2 minutes of additional time for a goalless draw.

In other matches, Highlanders are now on 7 points together with leaders FC Platinum after defeating Simba Bhora 1-0 at Barbourfields Stadium.

In Hwange, Bulawayo Chiefs defeated Chipangano by 2 goals to nil.

Bikita Minerals Upset Caps United in Stunning Victory at Rufaro

Newcomers Bikita Minerals registered their first win of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League with a victory at Rufaro Stadium, which was hosting its first match in 5 years.

Trickery youngster Chris Makambira scored a low drive in the 28th minute after breaking out on the left flank in a two-versus-one situation.

Makambira had shown signs of trouble from the onset, and it was no surprise he was the eventual scorer.

Caps United would respond a few minutes later with a shot that was deflected back into play before another attempt from the rebound was saved and cleared from the Bikita box.

Besides the scoreline, the match was evenly balanced with both teams taking turns to enjoy possession.

Bikita almost buried the homeside when a 43rd-minute header by Denis Nhongo went into the net but was ruled for offside.

Caps United came from the break as a resurgent side, enjoying much of the possession, which could have resulted in a goal as they hit the post twice.

Meanwhile, FC Platinum now sits on 7 points at the top of the league after a 2-2 draw against Chicken Inn at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane.

In Chisumbanje, TelOne and Greenfuel played to a 1-1 draw, while the battles between ZPC Kariba and Ngezi Platinum, Manica Diamonds and Chegutu Pirates, as well as Arenel vs Herentals, all ended in goalless draws.

FC Platinum’s Derby win Provides Momentum for Title Hunt

Mhondoro-Ngezi– FC Platinum’s bid for a fifth league title got off to a good start after the Zvishavane-based side secured all three points in the Platinum Derby.

Norman Mapeza’s men had a narrow win against debutants Chegutu Pirates on matchday 1 and an emphatic 2-0 victory against Ngezi Platinum served as a reminder of their strength.

However, for Takesure Chiragwi, his defence of the title hasn’t begun in the manner the young gaffer would have preferred, having picked up just one point in two games.

Ngezi settled in quicker than the visitors, displaying an early intention to secure a result.

However, it was former Harare City forward Wilfred Muvirimi who gave FC Platinum the lead in the 7th minute, heading in Oscar Bhebhe’s corner-kick, which marked the first shot on target in the match.

The quality of the two platinum teams was evident, reflecting the shrewdness of the two coaches as they exhibited a good brand of football.

Claude Mapoka came close to providing Ngezi with the equalizer in the 35th minute, but his close-range header safely landed in the hands of Magalane.

Ngezi returned from the break as a supercharged team, besieging Platinum’s goal in search of an equaliser.

Their best chance to restore parity came in the 59th minute when Murasiranwa’s deceptive shot from inside the box hit the left upright post before bouncing back into play.

However, Muvirimi extinguished any hopes of a comeback for Ngezi as he beat his opponents on the left flank before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the net and his brace sealed the victory for FC Platinum.

Ngezi Coach Takesure Chiragwi’s triple substitutions, which introduced reigning soccer star of the year Qadr Amin, failed to alter the outcome.

Despite the loss, Chiragwi believes his side played one of their best games yet.

“This is one of the best games that we have played and where we have thrown everything into a game. I think we were better at keeping possession and how we were attacking. We did everything, but sometimes you have to give credit to the opponents and admit that it wasn’t just your day.”
