Morgan Heritage making a return to Zimbabwe?

Morgan Heritage one of the greatest families in the history of music, especially Reggae, may be returning to Zimbabwe in the summer.

According to the ‘Island Vibes Africa Tour’ announcement flyer seen by Zimbuzz and widely shared on social media, the legendary Jamaican band is listed to host two shows, one in Harare on October 14 and the second in Kadoma on October 15.

The other countries named on the flyer are South Africa with two shows, Uganda, Malawi, Ethiopia, Ghana, Senegal and Seychelles.

The said flyer is however not available on any of the band’s official platforms including their website.

We were first alerted of it by a post via Godfather Templeman’s Facebook account but all efforts to ascertain its authenticity yielded nothing.

Its been 4 years since the Grammy award-winning ensemble last performed in Zimbabwe having done so in December of 2018 courtesy of David House Promotions.

The first time they were here thanks to 2Kings Entertainment the show was held on the 8th of October 2016 although initially pencilled for October 14 at the HICC dates had to be moved to pave way for Charles Manyuchi for his WBC Silver title fight against Frenchman Damien at the same venue.

Zimbuzz will update you once more details emerge…
