FC Platinum Drops Points Again
FC Platinum dropped points after playing to a 1-1 draw against ZPC Kariba. The former champions are now four points behind leaders Simba Bhora, who extended their stay at the summit after beating Bikita Minerals 1-0.
The Shamva-based team secured their solitary goal through Walter Musona’s first-half strike.
Musona is part of the Warriors squad that will represent the nation during the two-week international break, where they will face Kenya and Cameroon.
Ngezi Wins
Despite Ngezi Platinum’s premature exit from the CAF Champions League campaign at the hands of AS Maniema Union, the Mhondoro-Ngezi side returned to winning ways in the local premiership.

Dembare Finally Wins at Rufaro
Following their recent success in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round over ZESCO United of Zambia, Dynamos have carried their magic charm into the Castle Lager Premiership.
The Glamour Boys defeated a stubborn Chegutu Pirates side with a single goal at Rufaro Stadium.
Alick Freddy netted the winner in the 51st minute after a solid performance, deputizing for the right-back position in the absence of vice-captain Emmanuel Jalai, who left for Uganda on national team duty.
Earlier in the first half, Dynamos were awarded a penalty, which was taken by captain Makarati but saved by Pirates goalkeeper Jabangwe.
Dembare interim coach Lloyd Chigowe was a satisfied man after the team managed to collect three points at home.
“We needed to break the jinx. We have not been getting maximum points here at Rufaro. We needed a start, we needed to build confidence, and whichever way you look at it, we needed three points desperately,” he said.
