American rapper Gshytt Upbeat about local Collabos

It may sound like he is promoting his single and its accompanying video but for Gshytt, work is all about the vibe.

Speaking in Harare where he worked with multiple artists and producers at Pablo’Z studios says it is all about the vibe.

“If the vibe is right then we work,” said Gshytt.

And from how the week has progressed it is easy to see. Having arrived a day
after his producer Sean2Miles he came straight to the studio from the airport where after meeting a few people started laying vocals on the work.

Accompanying him was his brother Young who also acts as his executive producer.

And it is that very same energy that got him to work so intimately with the children from Jairos Jiri.

“I just needed to spend some time with them in the studio. When I heard the song we did first, I wanted to feel it first before I learnt the meaning. And when I got it, it was even more powerful,” Gshytt added.

Other artists he has worked with are Bryan K, Poptain and Tamy with production stars Chiweddar, Mega T and St Emmo also involved

The work is part of a project put together by fast-rising entertainment outfit African Fire Media as part of its Xchange programme.

Miracle wins Big Brother Naija with a Clean Sweep!!

After twenty Housemates entered the Big Brother Naija House, it boiled down to two Housemates, Miracle and Cee-C to which Miracle emerged the winner.

When Ebuka told them to take one last walk and switch off the lights in the House, Miracle and Cee-C knew that one of them was the ultimate Housemate for this season’s Double Wahala.

With smiles all over their faces as they switched one light at a time, they finally said their goodbyes to Big Brother and exited for the main stage.

When Davido’s Fall faded, the mood electrified as the Housemates entered the stage and soon after, Ebuka had to calm the crowd to which he slightly succeeded.

Winning Before Winning

Miracle’s will to win has always been rewarded by his ability to give his all in every challenge given to him. Whether it’s the Head of House, a Task or the Arena games, he always brought his A-game.

So when he was announced as the overall winner for the Payporte’s Arena games, it came as no surprise as he’s won more than any other Housemate.

With an overall time of 53 minutes and 30 seconds throughout the season, Miracle was awarded a cash prize of One Million Naira.

The Crowning

As usual, Ebuka asked the auditor to confirm if the results were independently verified and the auditor confirmed.

After they were shown the prizes to be won and with a total of thirty million votes this week; after a long silence and seeing both contestants shaking and nervous, Miracle emerged as the ultimate Big Brother Naija winner.

Emotions ran high from everyone and Miracle’s in-house sweetheart Nina; was at the fore embracing him as he struggled to get up after his excitement threw him on the ground.

Champaign splashing and everyone gathering to embrace him, finally he stood up and continued to celebrate in disbelief.

Congratulations Miracle, a race well run.

Big Brother Naija Finale: Nina Leaves First!

Clad in a sexy plunging neckline black maxi dress with dramatic feathered sleeves, the dainty Nina sashayed out of the Big Brother Naija “Double Wahala” House with pride having completed the 85 days of the Season and of course leaving her love-interest, Miracle.

Shortly after Big Brother addressed the Top 5, they were taken down memory lane as well-wishes from the fallen Double Wahala Housemates filled the lounge screen.

There was no dry eye in the room as they witnessed how they had all, in Biggie’s words, “changed and grown”. Yes, it all looked like they have always been one happy family.

What made Nina’s Eviction special was that she got to walk out of the House hand-in-hand with our Host, the forever-dapper Ebuka who complimented her look in his black and royal blue dinner suit.

Ebuka Grills Them

With Ebuka in the Big Brother Naija House for the final time, it was spotlight time for the Top 5 and they were so ready. First up was Nina who was charged with spending all her days in Miracle’s shadow, Nina defended herself saying, “he actually taught me to control ‘my bad mouth’ but I wasn’t hiding behind him”.

When Ebuka asked Tobi if he could be a ‘gossip’, he quickly quipped, “everything I’ve said in the House, I’ve said it in your face”.

As for Alex going against everything she vowed not to do in terms of falling in love in the Double Wahala House, she was ready. “The heart wants what it wants. When it comes to love, don’t believe me ” Alex said boldly, referring to Leo.

However, it wasn’t long till the auditor was ready with the envelope and Nina walked out with Ebuka. The big question is, will it be Alex, Cee-C, Miracle or Tobi?

Uebert Angel: Unshaken, Bigger than Ever

There is something remarkable about Prophet Uebert Angel’s tenacity that presents a case of a man undeterred by words spoken against him.

With the advent of the internet having provided with it the proliferation of voices that were previously unheard, and these voices have spoken a variety of things about him, bad and good.

Harare Services held at Zanu PF HQ every Sundays are always filled up

But it seems each time there is bad publicity about him, the news catapults him to even greater heights!

His growing influence in the modern day religion in Zimbabwe and the world over is undeniable.

Having mentored one of the most popular prophets Bushiri, Prophet Angel is seen by many as the pioneer of forensic prophecy in Southern Africa.

Amsterdam branch in the Netherlands

So many things have been written, said and even rumoured about prophet Angel, but the multi-millionaire businessman seemed to have mastered to turn all negatives to work for him.

Very few instances has he publicly come out in his own defence, perhaps wanting his works to speak for him.

And his works speaks loud enough.

Recently Prophet Angel bought a 4-star hotel in France, and with a real estate company, the man of cloth seem to believe a lot in properties after having acquired a couple buildings in the UK and USA.

In Zimbabwe alone, Angel has managed to grow more branches even in his absence. The Good News Church has branches in Bulawayo, Gweru, Chiredzi, Vic Falls, Mutare, Rusape, Bindura, Kadoma, Chinhoyi Kariba, Harare.

London branch in the United Kingdom

In addition, his ministry has also spread in places such as Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and other countries like Zambia, Botswana, St Dominic, St Lucia in the Caribbean, Netherlands, France, New Zealand, Aussies, England, Ireland, Canada and USA.

Davido Show — 5 things that we Learned

Davido finally made his second coming performance in Harare and this time he did it in a bigger venue, bigger crowd and even hungrier audience.

It probably was the most anticipated show of the year because of the circumstances surrounding it. Davido had missed two other shows in 2017, Ginimbi was involved and so was Boity and Trace Africa.

The show kicked off at 2145 with a suprise performance from Jah Signal.

Here are 5 things that we learned

Sorry Haters: Ginimbi is a Genius

So For the detractors who thought that Genius was a ‘one-hit-party’ wonder who lucked up with his foreign-hosted all-white birthday celebrations, we regret to be the ones to inform you that you were wrong. Dead wrong.

It’s understandable that there are people who do not take Ginimbi as a serious person, let alone businessman.

In the run-up to the show, he gave promises and assurances that he would deliver Davido to Zimbabwe hassle free. And he did.

The HICC was filled to capacity. We give Genius 5 stars for keeping on a promise.

The Rivalry between Stunner And Mudiwa Will not end, Not in this Lifetime.

Mudiwa and Stunner

Competition exists everywhere, but for Hip Hop it actually is good for the venture and for Stunner and Mudiwa, theirs is a gladiatorial contest between two titans.

Their rivalry stems mostly from the fact that they are rappers who are similar in more than one way.

For Stunner and Mudiwa it is not necessarily a question of who is good musically, it is a question of who is good entirely.

Saturday Night the rappers were made suprise co-hosts at the Davido show and they gave a show of their own.

Who knew that they could stand each other.

The rappers entertained fans in a civil but battle-like manner as they took turns to throw shade at each other.

They would dance to each other’s songs, even rap together, but in that brief show of affection, the lyrics will be jibes at one another. It was good to witness

Some fans are remarkably disrespectful

Davido’s show was probably one of the most violent at the HICC in recent times. People just wanted to fight and disturb others from having fun.

Moments after Davido made his grand entrance, some fans, right in front of him started fighting for God Knows What.

It had to take the Nigerian singer to sanitise things. You see someone parties with $40 VIP ticket just to fight. Remarkable.

Other fights would sporadically just pop from nowhere, right in the VIP section. It was sickening and embarrassing.

Boity is ridiculously HOT!!

Boity with Phathisani

Throughout Human existence, nations and cultures have had conflicts, often degenerating into serious wars that have lasted decades.

Some of these are caused by simple disagreements.

However Saturday night, we all witnessed a collective appreciation and agreement of the beauty that is Boity.

Boity

For a moment, time froze in the HICC as the South African Television Personality graced the stage in her white attire. Both men and women applauded the Angel that was before our sight!!!

Davido’s performance

First, let’s get something out of the way and give him an A for attending.

Davido is not one of the best performers the world has known and those that went to the 30 Billion Concert knew that fact.

People just wanted to see and interact with their star and he gave them that. Did people enjoy, we think yes.

See, we have learnt, from the many shows we have attended that the first sign of disapproval from Zimbabweans is the throwing of missiles at the artist.

Nothing was thrown Davido’s way, although another lady attempted to throw her undies and they failed to reach the stage.

Davido came onto the stage at exactly 0015 and left at 0247 on the dot, Zimbabwean experience tells us that you can only last that long if you are doing something right

Overall it was a great night in Harare.

Just In: Phathisani to co-host Davido Show with Boity

In the most unlikely but interesting pairing, Star FM DJ Phathisani Sibanda has been picked to co-host the Davido show with South African presenter Boity.

Zimbuzz can confirm that ‘Shumba Pazvese’ will be “rubbing microphones” with one of Africa’s biggest TV personalities tonight at the HICC.

The organisers made a wise move to pair the two as they were concerns weather Boity will be able to relate to the local crowd alone.

Boity landed in Harare yesterday and has been seen hanging around with local celebrities such as Ruvheneko.

Ruvhi welcomed Boity with an Instagram caption “Welcome back @boity Shut it down tonight ma”

Meanwhile, the stage inside the HICC auditorium has already been set and the VVIP section was decorated with white couches for the glamorous all-white party with Ginimbi.

Television Network Trace Africa has also put up their advertising banners along the barricade at the entrance and inside.

Zimbuzz took a tour around the tickets selling points in the city and they were selling like hot cakes.

Davido, Jah Prayzah, ExQ, Killer T and a few promised suprise acts will take to the stage tonight, in a show that Ginimbi promised to change the standards of local concerts

Swedish DJ Avicii found dead

Swedish DJ and producer Avicii has died. He was 28. His publicist, Diana Baron, confirmed the news in a statement.

Publicist Diana Baron said in a statement that the 28-year-old, who was born Tim Bergling, was in Muscat, Oman.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii,” it reads.

“He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”

A cause of death has not been announced.

In early 2016, he announced his retirement from touring in a lengthy letter to fans on his website. Avicii suffered from health problems for several years, including acute pancreatitis which caused him to have his gallbladder and appendix removed four years ago.

Avicii broke out with his smash hit “Levels” and also produced massive songs including “Wake Me Up” and “Hey Brother.”

Avicii was a pioneer of the contemporary Electronic Dance Movement and a rare DJ capable of a worldwide arena tour.

His death comes just days after he was nominated for a Billboard Music Award for top dance/electronic album for his EP Avicii (01).
