A total of 30 girls will take to the ramp tomorrow evening at the New Ambassador Hotel as they contest for the title of Miss Tourism Harare.
After weeks of auditions which were held at the ZTA offices in Harare, a total of 70 aspiring queens went into boot camp where they were groomed by Zim Gossip Models’ Rose Moyo and Mercy “Catwalk” Mushaninga.
The 30 aspirants were chosen from four provinces mainly Harare Metropolitan, Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland East and Mashonaland West, only six will proceed to the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe national finals.
Miss Tourism Harare licence holder Mercy Mushaninga said she was satisfied with the class of ladies who will take part in the finals.
“They are beautiful and excited about the pageant, we have taken them through grooming and the level of preparedness and confidence among them is high,” she said.
She also revealed the names of the judges for the night and these are Tsitsi Mutanga, Cuthbert Chigwida, Adeline Garden, Hilda Mabu and Tare Munzara.
A surprise package of local up and coming musicians will be providing entertainment at the 3-hour event which kicks off at 6 pm.
