#3 Post Relevant and Awesome Pics

Posting the same kind of photos with the same themes can get a bit boring after a while. Experiment with the themes. Change your angles and subjects. For example, if you love traveling, post some pictures of the place and authentic cuisines that you come across, or if you are a fashion designer, then give a sneak-peek into the fashion industry. Ensure that the lighting is good. The best kind of lighting is natural sunlight. This will ensure good quality to your photos. Also, avoid posting too many pictures at once.

#4 Tell Your Story with Captions

So you’ve clicked a killer picture, and are ready to post it? Wait, don’t post it yet! Captions are a very important part of your photo. It should tell the story and context behind your photo. As they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Let your photos speak for you. You don’t want people to keep guessing and get bored of it eventually, do you? An amazing photo along with a great caption is always the best and recommended combination. This will keep your friends interested, and leave them wanting more.

#5 Hashtag It!

We’re sure you don’t want to sound too desperate for likes, do you? Those of you who don’t like putting hashtags can post a picture without them, provided your content is awesome and unique, and will capture other people’s attention.

Target your hashtags in line with your picture. The most popular hashtag these days is #nofilter. You’re 10% more likely to receive likes. Avoid using #drunk. Studies show that it can decrease your likes by 40%. Also, don’t forget to add #selfie and #me along with others if posting a selfie.

You can also use geotagging here, i.e., tagging a geographical location, with New York being the most geotagged city in the world. You can tag all the local places, restaurants, events, landmarks, etc. It is sure to attract more likes and followers.

Choose the right filter and watch more likes pop up on your screen. Don’t be afraid to experiment here. However, if you are confused, don’t put any filter, because no filter is the best filter. Also, don’t over-edit them.

#7 Take More Selfies

Did you know that selfies rule the Instagram world? Studies show that the photos that show faces are 38% more likely to get likes as compared with the ones with no faces. Know your angles and find out whidrake n minajch angle makes your features stand out the most. However, limit yourself and don’t go overboard with it. Posting 1 – 2 photos daily is okay.

#8 Time Your Posts

Yes, timing is everything here. Let’s say, you post a beautiful photo in the middle of the night. How many people will actually be awake to see it? It is unlikely that you will get as many likes as it deserves. According to studies, the two most popular times at which people check Instagram are mornings and evenings. A photo stays active for around 3 – 4 hours after it has been posted.

#9 Make Collages

Combining 2 – 4 pictures together will encourage more likes. A collage is attractive and fun. There’s lots of scope for creativity in it. You can also take the help of other apps for editing your images. Also, it can tell a story in just one picture, rather than posting 3 – 4 images for the same.

10 Irritating WhatsApp Replies We Hate to Read

It’s truly a huge messaging world! It looks like the smartphones have taken over all humans as that is the only thing we do all the time. We are inseparable from our phones, and WhatsApp is one of the most addictive applications that keeps us glued. While chatting, we often come in contact with some really annoying replies by people. Here, we have compiled some of them just to crack you up!!

We are inseparable from our phones, and WhatsApp is one of the most addictive applications that keeps us glued. While chatting, we often come in contact with some really annoying replies by people. Here, we have compiled some of them just to crack you up!!

This list is compiled to specifically offend some people!!!

The Epic “K”

I know I’m not the only person who hates such a stupid reply. It’s almost become something that is universally hated. We all can relate to the situation when you send a heartfelt message and all you get is a K! Now, were you so lazy to type just an O with it? This reply is also a sign of someone majorly pissed with you. But then it’s better to tell the reason of being pissed than replying with that one letter. Also, the letter is not enough for some people so they will add a period just to stress on the point that they are pissed.

Tru/True

I really don’t understand what is the logic behind replying “True”. Plus, it’s always to a message that has no relation to your reply. Obviously, I know whatever I said is true, you don’t have to reassure that. I can still understand when people say “True that” because maybe it’s something they could relate to. But just “true”? Why?

LOL

People have all kinds of variations in this too, from lulz, lololol, lolz, to what not. Firstly, you can’t even capitalize 3 letters and then you use this reply for everything or when you have nothing to say. What is lulz or lolz anyway? It’s like you dozed off while laughing out loud. Plus, I know that you’re not laughing but saying that to cut the conversation down.

Nice

Nice was a very nice word until now. But, now it’s become a sign of telling that the person is in a sh**y mood. Please just stop it! I excitedly text you how exhilarating my trip was, and you reply with a “Nice”. I am too embarrassed already so Would you mind if I just come there and throw you out of the window right now? This reply isn’t even qualified to enter in the “good sarcasm” category.

Ummm

Umm/Mmmm/Hmmm is one thing that you’re tired of reading. It will just buzz in your ears, all the time. What is this even supposed to mean? You’re thinking, out of words, bored, or what? This will just automatically shoo all the people you’re texting, because no one wants a stingy bumble bee around all the time.

Smiley Overdose

What is wrong with the world? Sometimes, I wonder if people really have all the time to search for one smiley from all those, just to express one thought. You could have just written it in words. On the other side, people show that they are just so busy to even use a single word so they reply with a smiley. If you’re excited about meeting someone and you send a message saying,”Yayy! Will see you soon!”, and someone replies with just a smiley with a heart. Just imagine how it feels and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Replying with One Word

One word replies are irritating. That’s because you expect people to be more generous and use more words because your message deserved it.

Replying with Paragraphs

Long sentences or chunks of them are equally annoying. Paragraphs are unnecessary when you don’t need explanations for trivial things. Or what can be said in a few words or an emoticon, doesn’t need long lines of text. It gets boring sometimes.

Irregular Letters and Abbreviations

WhAt Is WrOnG wItH sOmE pEoPlE wHo WrItE lIkE tHiS? Oh god, I feel that it was a huge task to write like this, yet some people to do it very fast and almost all the time. As if that wasn’t enough, they even use some horrible abbreviations which give an impression that they’re talking in some weird foreign language. 4 wat (For what) and TTY L8R (talk to you later) are some of these alien words people use. Guys, please learn to use some good language!

No reply

All the above were some epic fails but then there are people who are the least bothered to even reply. They will come to you later with hundreds of excuses that they were busy or didn’t check your message. But the blue ticks have told you the truth.

Oh dear!!

The right way to wear (faux) animal print

When you read that, you probably pictured Estelle from “Friends,” Joey Tribbiani’s nutty acting agent with the raspy voice, shellacked hair, messy red lipstick, and leopard blouses.

That’s why animal print is one of the most divisive trends in the history of fashion. Some swear adamantly that you can wear it in a chic way, and some think it should never show up in your closet, much less at the office.
8924565b4b248c36881d1431e6b94d12whats important is that nobody ever knows whether animal print is in or out. Are we wearing it enthusiastically right now or turning up our noses at it? Even I don’t have a great answer for that question.

The best way I’ve found to keep animal print in your wardrobe is to stock up on accessories. This is a lesson we all learned from retailers such as J.Crew a few years back, and it remains useful when you want to jazz up a basic outfit.

These should be faux, of course, and mimic the natural colours of the animal. No “bachelorette party neon pink cheetah print.” Here are some key items to look for:

Clutches: I have the hardest time choosing an evening purse. I don’t use one often enough that I want to spend a ton of money, and I want to only have one that goes with every outfit, which is virtually impossible.

Animal print is a great way to solve this problem. It’s super easy if you’re an avid wearer of solid colors. Leopard print, for example, goes with almost anything and has the benefit of being sort of black and brown at the same time. But if you’re like me and tend to accessorize with more black than brown, zebra print might also work.

If you love patterns, you’re in luck: Pattern mixing is definitely in, so your animal print clutch is the perfect complement to, say, a striped dress.

Shoes: Typically you’ll want to avoid an animal print, platform heezebra-print-dress-with-red-beltl, but a flat is definitely something to consider. In Italy I saw a lot of looks along the lines of red lips, white button-down, skinny jeans and leopard print flats. It was super chic and effortless.

Scarves: You may be reading the many articles about how office temperatures are set for a man in his 40s, and are therefore a “sexist plot” to literally freeze women out of the workplace. No matter where you stand on the actual issue, it’s no joke that most offices feel like the arctic when it’s hot outside, and you need a little something with your black sleeveless dress. If you have an animal print scarf in your arsenal, you will not only stay warm, but also nobody will notice that you’ve worn the same dress every week if you spice it up with a scarf.

Belts: I love an animal print belt with a chambray shirt and light jeans. It’s also a great accent piece for the old work shirt/pencil skirt combo.

7 things an overweight person can relate to: Part 1

Being overweight is not only a matter of a size, it is so much more. For an overweight individual, being chided or reminded of it is like a constant companion, the metaphorical albatross around the neck. Agreed that being overweight leads to physical issues, but it also causes plenty of psychological strain and stress. If you are nodding in agreement after reading this, then this post is just for you.

Is fat really the worst thing a human being can be?image 1
Is fat worse than vindictive, jealous, shallow, vain, boring, evil, or cruel?
Not to me.
― J.K.Rowling

People across the world have certain set notions and beliefs which they propagate and adhere to. Anyone not conforming to these notions or seeking individuality is frowned upon.

It seems that people who are liberally endowed in the fat department just don’t fit in the “beautiful” category. I am not justifying or endorsing being obese in any way, it is just that even being ‘plus size’ is not considered normal, which I deem to be terribly unfair.

The definition and standards of beauty is a classic example of one such notion widely prevalent in society. It seems that people who are liberally endowed in the fat department just don’t fit in the “beautiful” category. I am not justifying or endorsing being obese in any way, it is just that even being ‘plus size’ is not considered normal, which I deem to be terribly unfair.

Being overweight or obese is a major health concern, but that doesn’t make those people any less beautiful or an easy victim for you to judge. The whole world is ever ready to judge everyone. Hence, being fat is like an invitation to many of those judgmental or mean comments.

This post is not intended to offend anyone’s feelings or not even written to promote obesity. These include just a few of the things people can relate to. So, read on with no hard feelings!

Things Every Overweight Person Can Relate To

#1. The Stares And The Taunts

People just don’t seem to understand that there can be fat people in this world. They will stare and stare, and keep their mouth blabbering whenever they see you. Oh, it is a sheer joy to see an aunt who you don’t know, walk up to you, and sugarcoat the fact that you have put on “SO” much weight. This situation is not restricted to relatives only, even random people love to stare at your rather fuller self.

#2. Free Advice

✦ Everyone loves giving free advice, especially to a fat person. Every single person around you deems it his/her birthright to warn you about the health problems, or advise you about diet, exercise, or even about what clothes to wear.image2

✦ All people older to you will come up to you and stress on the dangers of obesity. See, I know it all and I would work towards it. But, please I don’t want every person in my life to remind me of it every second of my life.

✦ People will always tell you what you should eat and most importantly what you shouldn’t. Every person will peddle his own option, like zumba, gym, etc., etc. And after exhausting all the options, they will have this common suggestion to throw at you, “You can at least walk or jog!”.

✦ “Wear black, it will make you look leaner”, “This hairstyle makes you look more fat”, these are some of the very common remarks you may have heard. Everyone has his/her own suggestion regarding what color or style of clothes to wear, what haircut is best for you, and everything that is even remotely concerned with your looks.

#3. The Adjectives

image3

It feels like the whole world is at a loss of all the adjectives, when it comes to describing you. People will avoid using “fat” but will use “healthy/plump”. I am sorry, that didn’t hurt any less! People might do it unintentionally or with a good intention. Yet, there are words like beautiful, gorgeous, or pretty that you could use too.

#4. Shopping, A Nightmare!

✦ This is one activity that probably everyone enjoys. But, we don’t and will never ever! If you ever have to go shopping with your (slim) friends, you have to be content shopping for shoes, jewelry, or even socks! Why? Nothing ever fits you!

✦ Brands think that we don’t exist so they don’t manufacture clothes of our size. (We would have made them richer).

✦ If there are any clothes of your size, you will have very little options. Not to mention that they carry a hefty price tag!

✦ Online shopping is sometimes the only option that remains. But, there’s another problem. Every other brand fits differently which makes shopping for clothes even more difficult.

#5. Testing Your Photography Skills

This is a huge task because no such angle exists that can make you appear slimmer. No low angles, no full frame shots, there are just so many problems. You would rather be someone behind the camera rather than in front. Most of our profile pictures are photos with “only face”, or where you have held your breath till you almost turned blue so that your paunch did not become the focus of the shot.

#6. Judged About Eating

✦ People will stare a lot even when you have a trolley with just one fried item and all other vegetables. They will also stare when you’re eating the tiniest piece of your friend’s burger.

✦ On the other hand, people will also pity and comment if you’re eating a salad. You just can’t figure out what exactly do they expect you to do.

#7. The Irony Of Life

It is quite irritating when you have slim friends who talk about putting on weight. They point to their “invisible” tummy and act as if “OMG! I am so fat!”. I know many of my friends will do it unintentionally, but it hurts! They are complaining because about 0.001-inch fat seems to be bulging out through their dress and though our tummies seem to protrude by almost 10 times that number, we calmly sit and listen.

Solving the Mobile Music Puzzle

4,748

Every year, cell phone makers tempt consumers withthe next wave of sleeker, shinier mobile devices. Oftentimes, the transition is simple –as long asyou stay with the same brand. If you’re considering switching to a different operating system, however, you’re probably already asking yourself one crucial question. “How do I transfer mydigital music collection when I make the switch?”

Most mobile operating systems aren’t designed to play nicely with one another, making it more difficult than it should be to transfer music files from, let’s say, a Droid phone to aniPhone — or vice versa. In fact, music lovers still struggle to obtain access to all of theirmusic all of the time. Some songs are on the computer, others on the tablet, and even more may beon the phone.ipod_touch_blue_back_hero

According to a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, about 73 percent of iPad owners have another type of mobile phone other than an iPhone.

Digital clouds come close to solving the dilemma for users who want continuous access to their tunes, or those who may switch phones or carriers as newer versions are released.

ButTriPlay’s cloud solution, called MyMusicCloud, is on a whole new level.

MyMusicCloud provides a seamless solution that may be used across multiple devices simultaneously. For example, listen to all of your music on your Apple iPad together with anAndroid or Blackberry phone.

In short, MyMusicCloud will sync iTunes, Windows Media Player and Dropbox so your entire music collection follows you everywhere. Unlike other streaming options such as Pandora and

Spotify, you aren’t tethered to Internet access or USB cards to enjoy your music.Classic-Beats-Pro-High-Performance-Headphones-diamond-red-white

Since the evolved cloud enables people to listen to the same music files across virtually every type of phone, tablet or computer, switching from Android to iPhone or iPhone to Blackberrywill be a breeze.

Finally, someone heard the global call for flexibility in storing music; MyMusicCloud is available in 22 languages so far. Perhaps Apple’s music “i-opoly” will now be less pervasive, although many still anticipate the effects as some device makers contend with design and softwarepatents.
