If Stunner died tonight, will Hip Hop be the same, will his influence be forgotten, will his immense contribution to Urban music just vanish with him to the grave, will Urban music be the same without him.
The answer is NO.
Stunner is known as that egotistical rapper, lover of all things beautiful, he is loved ,he is disliked.
But he has a soul and is human after all.
In his new song, he bares his Soul.
At a time that he should be enjoying marital bliss,Rapper Stunner is plagued by trouble again following his recent accident that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Last Monday saw the Hip Hop star involved in a third accident in six years, but it was the recent accident that seems to have invoked some emotion in him resulting in his penning a song.
In the song IF I Die Tonight, he asks some pertinent questions about people’s perception towards him, he refers to some jokes and memes that were created albeit mocking him.
The song is on an old school beat and in the chorus he quizzes:
If I die tonight pane vachandisuwa here/Pane vachataura nezvangu (If I die tonight)
Pane vachandisuwa here/Pane vachataura nezvangu (If I die tonight)
In typical flamboyance style, he talks about who will inherit his flashy wardrobe and also says his car should be given to his children.
So was Jnr Brown and Soul Jah Love’s new collaboration intentionally leaked or did it get into the wrong hands?
Jnr Brown and Soul Jah Love
This was the question that the team at Zimbuzz was battling to answer yesterday late afternoon as we got wind of the news that what was supposed to be a surprise offering turned out surprising the unintended.
This news is guaranteed to cause media firestorm as accusations have already started flying around, but like all leaked material,it might turn out to be good publicity for the artists.
Usually, in America when such things happen Record Labels immediately make calls to distributors such as iTunes and Tidal to make the song available for sale, as a counter measure.
But by the time of going to publish this morning, the song was only circulating on WhatsaApp.
We got hold of Award Winning producer and Jnr Brown’s manager Begotten Sun,to shade some light on the issue.
He suggests that the leaked ‘song’ is, in fact, a recording from a writing session by the two artists.
“During the process of working on the Jnr Brown Album, we got in the studio with Souljah love. What was supposed to be one feature ended up being a 2-month process and over 10 songs,”explained Begotten Sun.
“In the process, we worked with some up and coming producers and the leaked song is one of those that should be eventually on the EP once completed.
“Why they put it out prematurely is their decision, but there is a reason why as artists we should allow all due process to be completed. It’s never a great experience to hear an incomplete song by two giants like Breezy and Chibaba.”
The producer in question is 6ix Beatzof Planet Six Studios based in Ruwa.
When contacted for comment 6ix Beatz gave his short explanation.
“I’m actually surprised that it is said to have leaked, I ddnt leak the song and this is the first time I’m hearing this,”he said.
So what are our thoughts on the song?
Hip Hop and dancehall share a gene in that both genres are born from the same musical and social history, so usually when the two collaborates, its easy for the song to have an appeal to both listeners.
On the song Vavhimi, Jnr Brown and Soul Jah Love communicate a messae of winning, chronicling their stuggles to success.
Its that kind of song that motivates you on your jouney to the top.
Soul Jah love delivers the hook, and as has beome his fashion, the hook is a memorable line.
“Tasvika tasvikaVavhimi,Vakuru vekumhanyisa rurimi” thats all you need to memorise
Breezy delivers his ass kicking bars that sort of tells you to your face Success is your only freaking option
Takatanga tiri vapfana vekughetto vane tsvina/ Takurova tuma Jap tuma Benz tuma Beamer/ Boiz dzetonaz dzine makicks ari cleaner/ Vasikana vano noser plus chamba chiri cleaner/
We make something outta nothing tovhura business/ Nema metaphors, meta fives ,meta sixes/ Chipinda foreign onovhunza Metaphysics
And he delivers a sharp warning to the lazy ghetto youths: Vapfana vekughetto imimi hamusvike kure/ Mese muchangofa muri matsotsi nemahure.
Have you listened to the song? if so, Please share with us your thoughts.
We took a trip to Legendary Muzik Studio and we spoke to the Man behind the name and the Music, JMP. We found him taking a breather and we did what we do best. Got him to talk.

Jeepers Mad Producer, It came from high school, after watching the film Jeepers Creepers he went in the studio and made a BANGING beat for guys who were messing it up, and they just started calling him Jeepers , later on Inka Man and Templeman added the MAD PRODUCER bit and it stuck.

It seems like yesterday when we were introduced to Stunner’s shiny new red Toy: The Lexus.
This was Stunner’s most expensive wheels since he started learning how to drive, unfortunately, the Lexus – Toyota luxury sedan and Japan’s largest-selling make of premium car -was to meet its fate on a late Monday afternoon.
What we know so far…
This was Stunner’s Third accident. The First happened in 2010 near Rusape together with MC Chita and Shastro. The second happened in December of 2014 when he was in the company of Tally B.
In all of these accidents, he either escaped unhurt or with minor bruises.
The Rusape accident left the other driver injured.
The recent accident left a pedestrian injured.
Stunner is said to have been tickled by the cheering onlookers and tried to overtake a truck resulting in the crash.
He rammed into 4 parked vehicles.
The other car which he rammed into,in turn, hit a pedestrian.
Eyewitnesses said he took off at high speed from the traffic lights at corner Jason Moyo Avenue and Fourth Street.
The accident happened along Jason Moyo and Third Street.
Stunner denies that he was speeding, instead, he says one of the tyres had a burst, and he lost control of the vehicle.
Big and curvy women always have issues with wearing heels, some complain that the shoes break easily or lose shape far too quickly.
Linda Dulani founder and editor of Zimbabwe’s only shoe blog calledShoetribe answers a question from one of her readers on this issue.
Tara asked “I’m a big/curvy girl and l love high heels but l have trouble finding strong fashionable heels, however, at my weight they seem to break easier and just lose shape What shoe styles can curvy girls wear comfortably without running the risk of injury?
Firstly, there is a misconception that curvy can’t wear high heels. Stop it! Big girls CAN wear heels, let no one tell you different. If you can wear them comfortably and confidently then, by all means, go for it.
The shoe more liable to break is the stiletto.
One of the reasons why stilettos break is because of their narrow heel. Stiletto heels concentrate a large amount of force into a small area. So if you exert a lot of weight on that small area it might cause the heel to break.
Another reason might be the quality. Poor quality footwear, usually made from synthetic materials, deteriorate faster than leather which is more durable and breathes.
Shoes Curvy Girls Can Wear
Wedges
Wedges are your best bet. You don’t have to worry about your shoe’s heel breaking off because the sole is comprised of a single unit. They’re more comfortable because your weight is more evenly distributed.
Block heels
A chunkier heel is another fave because of its wide heel. It not only offers height but stability and practicality as well.
Kitten heels
The shorter ends of the stiletto. If you just have to have a thin heel go with kitten heels. A lot of my curvy peoples can only go up to 3″ so this shoe type is ideal as it is at that height.
Ankle Straps
Go for shoes with ankle straps to avoid the risk of falling over as ankle straps hold the shoe to the foot. Broad ankle straps are best for larger ankles, narrow ones can cut into the skin.
Strappy Sandals
Big girls should avoid strappy sandals with overly delicate or tight fitting straps. Opt for strappy sandals with comfortably placed straps to prevent chafing.
Hopefully, this will help you pick the right shoe according to your needs.
Oh wow ….I mean this song is just so wow. Okay okay, let us take a moment and break down.
Juwela who recently dropped Terms and Conditions went left with this one.
In this song, she claims to be literally the BADDEST queen in the industry.
This was pure Jamaican type of video fam, from the fashion she clearly channels her inkjet ratchet, walking with a troupe of girls who seem so ready to get into whatever trouble they can find.
Of course, it cannot be a dancehall video without some twerking on a caterpillar thingy and sharing a blunt with a dude from the corner whilst hanging out with Lady B. Juju vanga vakadhiniwa havo APA.
I am sure a lot of people will be shocked by the video, but we like that she is pushing imaginative boundaries. She clearly articulated the life of the Ghetto who is the Queen B and she knows it.
Huge shout out to Juwela doing the song in patwa (is that the spelling I wonder), it makes the song accessible to every dancehall fan across the world.
