Candice Mwakalyelye gives a Hint on new South African Job

Candice Mwakalyelye gives a Hint on new South African Job

After the loud hullabaloo that saw a talent exodus at ZiFM Stereo, it would seem that the gorgeous Candice Mwakalyelye might have joined the great trek down South.

Candice Mwakalyelye

Our favourite Radio presenter hinted Thursday morning that she could have landed a job at the prestigious Urban Brew Studios in South Africa.

She wrote: Day one… Technically (lol!) of another life! #WeKeepItMoving #PrayMeWell#IAm #MalkiaWaSimba #LeoQueen at Urban Brew Studios…

We are definitely convinced that the former ZiFM news anchor has settled well in South Africa.

Urban Brew Studios has made some of the most loved and most eagerly followed shows in South Africa, from game and reality shows to youth programming, variety and music shows to sports shows and telenovellas, documentaries to soapies.

As we try to figure out where our girl is exactly housed, below we put out information regarding the assets of the media group.

They launched  the first fully-fledged community TV station in SA, Soweto TV, and have followed with 1KZN and several more TV channels: [ED], Glow, Dumisa, and One Gospel.

Some of their Television programmes include  Yo-Tv, Wie’s My Liefie, Vodacom Millionaires, Shift, Shield No Sweat Golden Goal, Rgb – Real Goboza, Mahadi, Live Amp, Khumbul’ekhaya, Gold Diggers, Friends Like These, I Just Wanna Praise amongst others.

It is also interesting to note that Urban Brews Studios is wholly owned by Kagiso Media a giant media company.

Kagiso Broadcasting houses the wholly and part owned radio assets of Kagiso Media, the wholly owned TV channel, Glow TV and media sales house, Mediamark.

Their radio assets comprise East Coast Radio (KZN) ; Jacaranda FM (Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga; OFM (Free State) ; Heart FM (Western Cape) ; Gagasi 99.5 (KZN).

They also own 47,5% of Kaya FM 95.9 ,the largest independent commercial regional station in Gauteng speaking to over 1,7 million.

If indeed the rumours are true that Candice is at Urban Brew Studios she sure has made a huge stride.

BlacPerl finally Breaks silence on Virginity

[fb_button]BlacPerl finally Breaks silence on Virginity

Such a great amount of things happen in Zim Hip Hop main street and one subject that has overwhelmed a considerable measure of discussions has been the issue of Blacperl  being the Only virgin female rapper in the game.

The rapper was accepted to not just wear the Crown Hip Hop Queen around her head, yet talk was that she additionally wore her Virginity Crown.

BlacPerl
BlacPerl

We are likewise as perplexed with regards to the sources of the bits of gossip, as some hip hop family talk with shocking power about her purity.

Might it be that the rapper herself has openly or secretly revealed this? All things considered, today we strip the rumours naked as we bare it for all to see.

Zimbuzz can exclusively reveal that BlacPerl,21 is for sure as unadulterated a virgin as untrodden snow.

“Yes I am a virgin it’s a choice I made, not to get any public cosign but just to at least show the next generation of girls that you don’t have to trade yourself to chase a dream,” she exclusively told Zimbuzz.

“Not saying those who are not are any less but just to kill the fallacy passed as a fact that all girls trade their bodies for success. I am here without all that and no drama.”

(And with that confirmation we can already see hashtags and memes being created..well lets gets virginity trending people here is a start #VirginDiaries)

Another subject which has been shrouded in secret has been the rapper’s love life, who might she be able to date? who has she dated some time recently?

BlacPerl in her documentary scene

She opens up on it:

“My love life is simple,I am in love with my dream. I date my dream, I care about it, I even caress it. That’s my love. I am a bit too focused on that to have time for a relationship,I just don’t have the time or the energy for it,” she said.

There aren’t many openly virgin celebrities that we know of, but two famous names come to mind, Carrie Underwood and American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks.

Way back in in 2007 Carrie Underwood told Slate magazine that she was saving herself until marriage. She did just that until Mike Fisher put a ring on it and they exchanged vows.

But we won’t forget that awkward Wendy Williams interview when in 2014 she asked singer Jordin Sparks if she was still a virgin as she professed.

It turned out that boyfriend Jason Derulo had deflowered the Battlefield hit-maker, in what Zimbuzz can only imagine to indeed have been a real Battle in Jordin’s Field.

Jason Derulo also revealed this during a radio interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.

Our young lady Blacperl is hinting at no faltering in her Virginity duty, responding to another question from Zimbuzz as to what sort of a man suited her taste, she said none.

“I don’t think I have a taste in men yet, they are the least of my worries, I wake up I chase a dream,I have done so well and maybe this time next year I will be in a position where I will be thinking of dating…and trust me when someone sweeps me off my feet you will be the first to know (referring to Zimbuzz of course),” she said.

BlacPerl is without a doubt in affection with her dream as she as of late discharged another amazing album which earned her a sequential Zim Hip Hop Best Female nomination, she won the Award a year ago and is taking a gander at making it a twofold this December.

Her debut solo album, “The Blac Diary”, was launched in October at The Volt you can buy her album by sending a WhatsApp message to this number +263776134435

SICAS which stands for Study In China Admission System  is the biggest education recruitment agency for Universities in China and it represents over 300 Universities in the Asia country.

Speaking at the launch Miss Barbara Mzembi said they had made sure that that they recruited models who had an excellent academic background.

“The minimum educational requirement for Miss Tourism Zim is A Level, and all our girls going into boot camp have that requirement, others are even enrolled at Universities,” she said.

SICAS Zimbabwe Managing Director Joy Khosa said they were excited to partner with the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe as they believe their involvement will change the fortunes of one lucky girl.

“As a service provider, SICAS has a broad cooperation with China’s universities. Until now, SICAS has been authorised by more than 300 universities and colleges and the number is still growing every day,” he said.

“It’s also our priority to promote the girl child and we hope the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe will avail this opportunity to us next year,” added Khosa.

Meanwhile, the models who made it to the finals go into Bootcamp this week, with the pageant being held at Rainbow Towers on November 25, an annual ball charity fundraiser has been scheduled prior to the main show.

Bustop TV and the 2 Years of great Laughter

Since the coming on board of such great minds as Luckie Aaroni, comedy in Zimbabwe had never been packaged and presented in more simple, exciting and relatable manner.

As a co-founder of Bustop TV, he has managed with the help of a great team, to steer the comic pair of Magie and Gonyeti even when the boat was rocked by storms.

He said of the anniversary:

“As the co-founder, it’s a mixed feeling for me considering that along the way we lost other members.

“We were much better together but am still grateful for the girls who have stood by our side through the hard times and they have worked hard and are now recognised as brands especially considering the award which they received recently,” he added.

Bustop TV  had to rebrand from P.O box reloaded a decision which Lucky said was a difficult choice to make.

“Rebranding was not easy for us, it was not an easy decision for the team as we were scared that the plan might fail,” said Aaroni.

“It was a leap of faith for us as we didn’t want to let go of the P.O Box name but because of the confusion it was creating we had to heed advice from our mentors, friends, partners and clients.”

Mandisoul and Miss V Candy Welcome baby Boy!

Radio and Television personalities Marc Mandisoul and Miss V Candy are now proud parents to a baby boy.

Presenter Search Zimbabwe and the Club E presenters christened the baby Michael Reign Mandisoul.

Miss V Candy delivered Michael Monday late afternoon around 1700hrs in Belvedere.

Mandisoul was quivering all over with excitement when he spoke to Zimbuzz about his newborn son.

“It’s just an amazing, amazing experience, this boy is just a summary of what we been to each other, sharing love, life, work and building the Entertainment brand, for me, this was like the greatest gift ever, from a wonderful, talented and highly intelligent special woman,” he enthused.

“I guess we would love to see him grow the Empire one day,” he added.

Although the couple was not keen on sharing the baby’s picture as yet we can just imagine he looks as sweet and cute as the moniker he has already been given – SoulCandy

This is how our naughty selves imagine Miss V Candy was like in the delivery room:

Miss V Candy
Miss V Candy

With her pretty looking face, we can see her forehead beaded with perspiration, eyebrows deeply knitted and her sexy lips slightly ajar in agony.

You know how we love to watch those beautiful celebrities giving birth on TV and Miss V Candy being one with all the Eye-Candy (She damn hot) it must have been a pleasure to watch all that pretty face developing wrinkles in a few seconds

Or maybe she was crossing one leg and after that the other or maybe she was trying to rearrange the Hospital furniture all in the name of delivering Michael…

From all of us here at Zimbuzz…Congratulations

Could Ammara Brown and John Cole’s Kiss be the end of Morales in Zim Films and Videos?

[sociallocker][/sociallocker]

Could Ammara Brown and John Cole’s Kiss be the end of Morales in Zim Films and Videos?

One of the most dependable things about Zimbabwe’s Film and video industry is that you are guaranteed a “Clean” movie, no overt and offensive dressing , no sexual innuendoes that make you blush, No Sex scenes that make you answer the Remote.

Ammara Brown and Joe Cole
Ammara Brown and Joe Cole

Just good Old Entertainment and then Came that Tom Mbambo and Bev Kiss that nearly knocked the teeth out of Grandmothers Mouth.

The resulting  uproar by Studio 263 fans might have caused all these other series, movie and video producers wary of Kissing scenes and then that movie Escape came out , and it has it all , Kissing and sex and everything in between and suddenly directors and actors got more daring with their  intimacy scenes on screen.

These steamy-Cant- watch-with-your-mum-in- the-room Kisses seem to be here to stay and the latest to join the hall of  Zim kisses is John Cole and Ammara Brown.

These two have had a long relationship, on and off screen that is Ammara does the singing and John Cole puts the dancing visuals to the golden chords…Case in point Mukoko and Havarare.

So them jumping into Acting together does not seem to be a very long leap.

The small trailer ( OR teaser I never know which is which) posted on John Coles Instagram page shows a very cozy scene of Ammara sitting on a kitchen counter with Mr Cole right in front of her and they seem to be talking about something  they really don’t want found out and when Ammara soothes Mr Cole about whatever it is they want done( Murder ? Drugs? FOMO got me bad)  They lean in into the kiss .

Now you can tell that they have done this before (NO NO NO Come back) cause the kiss is flawless and it must have taken a thousand takes to get that lip battle on point.

The Camera work was a bit sloppy cause we didn’t get the perfect angle we used to in other movies, lights were dim and the sound was something else BUT it’s a good start  and we can’t wait to see these two multi-talented people get it on ( Again Come back) in this acting business.

Now, of course, we asked around about this kissing trend and people have mixed feelings, some think that as Zimbabweans we have been desensitised by First World media and we are headed towards the immoral path and it will only be reinforced through our own media.

One particular man *Name withheld cause well* thought that as a community we are already in trouble with sex tapes and nudes and our movies didn’t need add fuel to fire by exposing children and youth to such practices.

The other bunch of “sexually liberated” woke people simply agreed that ART is an imitation of Life and if artists are curbed with cultural norms and not what is on the ground as a society then we will never know the SIGNS and SYMPTOMS of our social ills.

Of course, they did not say it quite as eloquently we sort of summarised it for you. As Zimbuzz we just want the première date and detail of this Movie and the tickets.

What do you think about Kissing and sex scenes in Zimbabwean Movies??

The announcement was made today on his various social media platforms.

“Today Winky D releases the official video for his mega hit, “Disappear”. The BBC 1Xtra chart-topping single video will premiere at 8pm (GMT+2) on Botswana TV Flava Dome. It will later be released worldwide via Winky D YouTube channel at 10pm (GMT+2),” read the statement.

Winky D had announced during his  12-track new album premier on ZiFM in October this year that fans were crying for him to release the video to the record-breaking tune.

“Winky D fans have been asking for this video, we do what we do because of the fans. And as I promised during Gafa Futi album launch that I would deliver Disappear video before any other video, it was fitting to answer the Disappear question before I answer the latter – Panorwadza Moyo, Twenty Five or Gafa Party questions, said Winky D.

The statement also said that BTV Flava Dome viewers will be the first to view the video as a thank you gift to Winky D’s fans in Botswana who are still euphorically playing, dancing and pushing Disappear to a classic status.

The video directed by Kyle White and shot in South Africa will definitely satisfy fans from Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and worldwide who were hungry for Winky D Disappear’s visuals

Presenter Search Zimbabwe set to partner Africa Magic

Entertainment Africa the producers of Presenter Search Zimbabwe announced a partnership with Africa Magic, a channel on the DStv platform.

presenter-search

“Our Top 10 finalists will have a great opportunity to sell their talent to a wider African audience as we shall be producing about 15 television programs for Africa Magic,” said Marc Mandisoul the producer.

He also announced that the top 3 winners from the final 20 will be taken for further work grooming by Zimbabwe radio stations.

The Presenter Search Zimbabwe’s first season has attracted a lot of interest especially during Harare auditions where the team of judges had to work extra time to give everyone a chance to audition.

Also speaking on the same program, one the judges Power Fm’s Dj ButterPhly said she was excited by the new show.

“Presenter Search Zimbabwe represents the aspirations I had growing up as a teenager and I am glad that those who hold the same aspirations as I did back then, now have a chance to live their dream.

Meanwhile, the nation should breast itself for an entertaining season of Presenter Search as it is set to bring new standards as far as local production is concerned.

“One of the things that Africa magic was concerned with was  the quality of the production but after they had a chance to see our pilot programme they were convinced that the show was indeed of great standard,” added Mandisoul.

The top 20 who will make it to boot camp will be selected by the judges who include, Phathisani from Star FM, Butterphly from Power Fm.

The public will then chose their preferred top 10 through a voting system.

The team also unveiled a sponsorship package from Ruvimbo funeral services.

Their representative Mr Eddie Gomba said as odd as it might sound as a funeral service company they believe a person should live and enjoy their existence fully before they pass on to the other world, hence their partnership with Presenter Search.
