Ranked as one of Vuzu’s and Africa Television best presenters, Denise joined Vuzu in 2013, shortly after her show Fly Chix, and was the presenter on their flagship daily show V-Entertainment.
New presenters have already been roped in, the likes of Nomuzi Mabena, the rapper will also be joined by new faces on the channel including Dash of Dreamteam fame and Shane Eagle.
Her fans could not help but express their sadness on Twitter
So you know the old adage “Be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it ?” well, a couple of weeks ago we put a Mukoko Video in our 2016 Video Basket and at 1200am last night/This morning we got what we wished for and More !! Spoiler Alert please do NOT read if You HAVE NOT WATCHED THE Video
Set in Mbare it’s your typical ghetto love story of Musikana wepaTuckshop neMuface wepamaraini who convinces everyone that Mukoko waAmmara Got some magical Love properties and they start selling like Hot Property ( We shall not delve into the metaphorical meaning of Ammara selling sweet honey and Tytan pimping her promoting it and men lining up).
Ammara and Tytan fully embrace their roles and we have a cameo from Tino Katsande as the nosy neighbor who we guess was jealous of Mukoko waAmmara maybe cause her Tomato business was going down due to Ammara #SpeculationHerePeople.
It was great seeing Tin Tin we had missed you a lot and we hope this means you are somehow back in our lives for Good on our silver screens (Subject to availability of Zesa Of course) .
The Dance choreography was ON POINT, I mean forget what they presented at the ZIMAs, the video is on fire there is A High Kick from Ammara at some point , then there was the Side twerk when Tytan is air drumming Ammara’s derrière , the dancers are on point which speaks volume of the skills and talent of the award-winning choreographer Mr. John Cole .
His Twitter TL is now dominated with #DancewithJohnCole and hints of a Dance tour ….We are definitely looking forward to that. #SideNote We LOVED the part when Mawoko were Given By Mr. Cole to the Lady who took the arena to show us Youngies how it is done .
The fashionista Ammara is really the queen of Afro-pop in Zim, and she has constantly amazed us with her afro-centric style, Both on stage and off it. The yellow and brown (Honeycomb colours) perfectly blend with the theme of the song and Tytan did change his trademark shirt (Hallelujah).
The rest of the Cast seamlessly fit into the selected Set and it was a Good Day.
At the time of press, the Video was on a Cool 17k Facebook VIEWS , which should be some sort of record for a Song that went up at Midnight , highlighting just how Popular and Lovable this Hit Song Is.
Social media has embraced the Song with hashtag #Mukoko everywhere and high profile Celebrities like Carl Joshua Ncube and CST ( What does he do and who is he , more next time) giving Tytan and Ammara a Thumbs up .
Of course, they are always a few bees in Pure honey , with certain fashion “stars” allegedly throwing subliminal shots at the Video just mere 2hrs after the Video was dropped but to ascertain their irrelevance in this particular matter let’s not mention names.
As Taylor Swift once wisely Said , Haters gonna Hate , hate , hate but we just gonna Mukoko Shake shake shake ALLL DAY .
Thank You Ammara and Tytan our thirst for the Visual art has been quenched sufficiently and More
If you were Brave enough ( Or just reckless with the way you handle your FOMO) and read through this WITHOUT watching the video first then here is the Link to the resounding smash Hit ….
I had dedicated my Easter holidays to more important things like visiting the potential in-laws, a movie was never featured in that list even as an after thought, but then I heard Batman and Superman were fighting.
It was as shocking as it was unbelievable that two of my most loved heroes could be fighting on different sides, so my Easter plans took an unforeseen yet inevitable detour to the Moviehouse.
Ok without giving a spoiler alert, I think I have grown tired of these meaningless Marvel movies, whose entertainment value I no longer see.
I promise I won’t spoil it for those yet to watch it.
But let me answer the big question: Why are Batman and Superman fighting?
Superman looks likes a cool guy to me and has no ‘meaningful’ beef with Batman but then Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), kidnaps Superman’s mom (Diane Lane) and tells Superman that either he produces the head of Batman or his mom called Martha dies. (sounds like that bible story about John)
So Superman worried about his Mother flew over to Gotham to talk to Batman like a grown up, but to his surprise, Batman is already wearing his armor, in preparation for a fight.
This is when the fight begins. Although Superman tried to explain to Batman the purpose of his visit, the latter only wants to fight.
Interestingly Batman’s mother also shares the same name as of Superman’s mom, Martha.
Rumours of the queen of swagger – Pokello Nare being pregnant went wild last year but the couple managed to keep the news under tight wrap.
However early this year, Pokello was also rumoured to have been blessed with a baby whose sex remained anonymous.
Pokello with new baby and son Nathan
Pokello and Elikem Kumordzie got married traditionally at a private family gathering in June last year and ever since the two have been frequently seen together, alternating between two capitals, Harare and Accra.
This easter holiday the two former Big Brother Africa contestants decided to share with us a picture of what could be their newborn baby, maybe 2-3 months old.
And she just had to do that by showing off her drop dead sexy bod (of course we all have seen more than she can reveal but a reminder never hurts).
For a new mum, that’s a great body, we wonder what she been doing right to quickly get back into that sexy shape.
Care to share your diet? Yoga or Gym instructor? Hello,Pokello?
On Monday 4 April viewers across Africa will welcome a new and exciting telenovela to their screens as Africa Magic premieres Hush, a tale of fashion, politics, and ambition which follows different members of high society as they collide.
The story of Hush revolves around Bam and Arinola, power-players in fashion and politics respectively.
Bam, played by Richard Mofe-Damijo, is one of Africa’s biggest designers based in Lagos State, Nigeria, and Arinola, played by Thelma Okoduwa, is one of the state’s fastest rising politicians.
Hush premieres on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151) and will air on weeknights at 21:00 CAT
The intrigue begins when Bam proposes marriage to Arinola, an action that sets in motion a chain of events propelled by the secrets in their respective lives, secrets that run through the backrooms of secret societies, the corridors of the judiciary and on social media.
The Director, M-Net West Africa, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, said: “Hush is an exciting telenovela that explores the intriguing relationship between two powerful individuals, and the power tussle between players in fashion, politics, and high-society.
The storyline is unique even as the acting promises to be exciting, given the caliber of the cast and crew involved. We are excited for our viewers and urge them to tune in to catch Hush.”
Hush follows in the stead of Africa Magic’s recently concluded and highly popular Nigerian telenovela, Hotel Majestic, and promises to keep viewers entertained with its themes of love, power, high-society, betrayal and intrigue.
“There’s a co-dependency of which not all players are aware. Sometimes this is a healthy relationship, often times not. The cast of Hush is stellar and the show marks a return to television for a number of renowned actors and actresses.
All these factors make for exciting viewing and we can’t wait for our viewers from all over Africa to tune in,” Mba-Uzoukwu added.
Football jerseys have found their way into many wardrobes as kit makers seek to make a killing from the world’s most supported sport.
The sport has such a colossal following that its soccer kits are now a signature streetwear style and has been embraced by mainstream urban fashion enthusiasts.
Zimbabwean fans are no different as they have also embraced the urban fashion statement of donning their team’s favourite colours.

With that in mind, The Green Machine – Caps United have unveiled their new kit for 2016 done by local sports manufacturer ROAR.
This young man has been making waves since the year started with Soko Matemai , Yep he is That Guy with the Number one Video on Zambezi Magic , Zim Top Ten and ladies he is Beads and Beard Clan.
He dropped a Video (Yohwe ) and I took a listen and I must say the young man is impressive ,mixing Shona and English Bars and what not.
His facial expressions communicate the meaning of his lyrics so you get the feel of what he is Saying. Some of my favorite lines are
“Boy is too sick Man , Im over diseased”
“Im Hotter than Mbawura”
My fav is
“Iri Bar randa Setter iri, Bar randasetta munga riSvetuka Imi. ?”
The whole song sounds like an everlasting Freestyle as if he woke up and was like “You know what I got Bars that I need to Offload before the files get old.”
It made me feel like I am watching a One man Cypher.
Black and White with great angles from the cameraman( Hie Boo Boo , Shout Out To You ) , it manages to capture and hold your attention via very unique Images :Emoticons .
Yep whoever thought of That idea needs a thumbs up for No Box Thinking ( Re –Read That ___Got It? Carry On) .
The emoticons are thrown in such a way that Syncs with the Bars being spit , sometimes insinuating and pointing out what is NOT being Rapped about by the artist ( Yes iAmSharky we caught those shots , but we will talk about them Later )
All in all whilst I cannot rap along cause I like my Choruses, I Like the Song and Video. Very Simple and powerful, shows off his lyrical ability .
Stunner yesterday pulled A Justin Bieber by launching a social media campaign to look for his “number one” Fan. This is after the lady in question photoshopped herself into one of the Superstar’s pictures.
#ChillingWithBaeStunner
Apparently the Hwahwanirwanyasha hit-maker got hold of the picture and was”humbled” to have such a fan who would go to any length to have a picture with him ( I would say it borders on stalkerish insanity but let’s go with obsessed Number OneFan).
His Fan search is under the tag #WhoIsShe and he promised that the mystery Lady will have top notch Vip treatment on Friday at Stunners Vault Show ( Picked up and dropped off home , One or Two Drinks because MaShark are Sponsoring ) with an added Bonus of Unlimited Pictures with the Swaggered up Rapper

After listening to just one track from Alick Macheso titled ‘Gungwa’ I was convinced that Sungura is saved and the king is really back in action. Everything the man does is madness with precise method and intent.
Written by Jeffrey Murimbechi
The album title Tsoka Dzerwendo sounds simple on the surface, but, in depth its a bold statement reminding the music industry to take a look at the journey he’s taken to get to the pinnacle of Sungura.
After all the guy is a purist Sungura artist who probably learnt his lesson not to blend too much rumba and other elements to his crisp sound.
In the 15 minute long ‘Gungwa’ he maintains the structure and format of Sungura hit music that is, a build up intro that starts with a huge thud followed by loads of rhythm as build up to the song.
Title sleeve for Tsoka Dzerwendo
This is followed by a few verses broken down by guitar sequels that carry the message and then the good part comes, the part Zimbabweans always refer to as ‘Change Gear’ that’s the part in ‘Gungwa’ that hit me the most.
He uses imagery, in the form of the sea (Gungwa) which he advises is a monument that can not be emptied by using feeble instruments such as spoons, buckets, tubs and cups.
Once again he is provocative asking “Maikupa nei Gungwa”, which in itself is a mockery to any fool trying to take on a great monument without what it takes.
He goes on further to use a mountain as an example asking how on earth a sane person would like to take down a mountain using a spoon or a shovel
Then it climaxes in more direct language when he throws yet another provocative rhetoric “Waitangirei musindo?….Iwe uchiziva kuti hauzvimiriri, waitemba vamwe vachapindira” which directly translates to “why would you start a fight when you can’t back it up, were you hoping your buddies would step in?
The man is pure genius and it takes a while for the music to sink in simply because of the complexity of his strings and the long shelf life of his music no wonder why most of his albums did well.
Then comes the signature bass guitar from about 7:17 which is something that sounds like the bi-product of a martian, a lunatic and a genius blended together and served up as a potent concentrate for almost 2 minutes.
As we all know he has new band members and they also have a go at solos, these nameless guys are surely catching up to the standard and this is a good year for Sungura, much needed competition.
